【Workshop Description】 

【Introduction】 
The 17th International Workshop on Business Incubation will be held in Shanghai,  
China from Oct.26th to Nov.1 st, 2014. It is initiated by Torch High Technology  
Industry Development Center, MOST of P.R.C and Science and Technology Commission  
of Shanghai Municipality. The theme of the workshop is “ Opportunities and  
Challenges of Incubator: International Technology Transfer and Incubation Mode  
Innovation.” 

Topics of the workshop includes business incubator and international technology  
transfer, technology and finance, cooperation among government, industry, academic  
and research for business incubation , college student entrepreneurship, application  
of information technology in innovation, innovation of incubation mode etc. 

This workshop is an important part of the training programs of AABI(Asian Association  
of Business Incubation), which is for business incubation managers, entrepreneurs  
and government officers. Since 1998, sixteen workshops have been hold and have attracted  
over 400 participants from around 30 countries and regions. 

The workshop comprises of keynote speeches, panel discussions, case studies as well  
as visits to local business incubators. The workshop provides a chance for participants  
to enhance the understanding of business incubators in Shanghai. Meanwhile, the workshop  
also facilitates participants to share and exchange their methods and experience  
regarding innovation of business incubators.

【Registration】 
Registration fee：400 US dollars per person 
The registration fee includes local transportation, document and catering costs.  
Registration before July 31 is offered a 20% early-bird discount. 
VISA/MasterCard and RMB cash only. 

【Accommodation】 
About 80 US dollars per person 
Recommended accommodation is Jianguo Hotel Shanghai 
VISA/MasterCard and RMB cash only. 
The accommodation cost is not included in the registration fee.
